Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Troy-Bilt Power Washer low pressure, troy bilt pressure washer, pressure relief valve

Question
Hello,

I have a Troy-Bilt pressure washer that is a few years old.  I took it out today for the firt time of the year and it started right up.  The problem I have is that the pressure of spray is low, it seems to never kick into the high gear when I pull the trigger like it used to do in the past.  The engine seems to run perfectly.  It also won't intake any soap like it would do last year.  What should I be looking at for the cause?

More than likely your pressure regulator valve is stuck, mostly from corrosion due to certain water conditions especially if you have well water. When you put the pump away dd you lube the pump and pump housing? (Probably not)most homeowners don't even think about doing that. We have a product that will hook up to your intake valve on the pressure washer that you spray into the pump which lubricates the pump, regulator, pressure relief valve and other parts.
