Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Limiter Caps, walbro carburator, razor knife

Question
I have a Walbro carburator that has the limiter caps on the mixture screws, what is the best way to brake them off without distroying or bending the screws so they can be adjusted to the right mixture. Thanks

Answer
The plastic ones with the ears that only allow limited movement,
I usually just trim off the ears with a razor knife and leave them on.  The red ones in the two little holes require a puller to get them out, or a coarse screw threaded in and yanked out.
However, trying to adjust out a carb that is clogged up, or
correct other problems is not a good idea, it is best to identify the
problem and fix it properly for the best results and long life of the engine.
