Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): YARDMASTER BY MTD, dead mower

Question
Mower will not start, just put in a new battery. When the key is turned there is nothing happening, no noise or anything. Do these mowers have starters? If so can anything be done besides get a new one?

If the battery is installed properly with the cables tight, then check the fuse.  It will be next to the steering shaft by the firewall, under the frame under the seat or on some mowers, under the plate in the belt tunnel. Some of the older mowers have them hid pretty well, but they're usually near the solenoid.  Let me know if you have any troubles.  Thanks, PK.
