QuestionI have 2004 6.5 hp Toro mower, when you engage the transmission, the wheels spin but as soon as you apply any resistance, they stop or loose torque. I have replaced the wheels, the belt, and the gears in the axile the connect to the wheels. I'm guessing the only thing left is the transmission??
AnswerI am thinking that something may be slipping, look closely at the belt and the pullies. Turning the trans pulley by hand will let you know if the trouble is in the trans or not.
Of course the gears have to go one the correct way, double check those too.
