Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Garden Tiller Tines not moving, tiller tines, sears craftsman

Question
I have a Sears Craftsman 5 hp tiller (Briggs and Stratton) Model 785 2992 60087

I am trying to repair the Tiller but can't find any info from Sears or via internet.

It is worm gear driven...I have disassembled the Tines and the gear below the motor. I can't get the gears to turn.

How do you get the motor apart from the gears? Is there a diagram/illustration available for this type of tiller?

What could cause the tines to stop turning? I was using the tiller and it stop turning. The motor will run but the tines will not move.

Thanks in advance I look forward to your response.

Answer
The tiller was made by a big "tiller" company a long, long time ago.

You likely already know all the names, general power, magna american, etc.

Usually, unbolting the engine, it would lift up and expose a
clutch, and tearing into the trans would be obvious.

But every indication of the tiller you have is that it is an antique,
and there are no parts lists around., meaning that the tiller is likely older than you, or maybe me.....
