QuestionI have a B&S Quattro 4hp that runs great for about 20 minutes then it dies, continually and I have to repump the primer to get it started. I did a standard tune up, oil, plug, filter...problem is still there. It doesn't smoke or run rough, it just dies. What can I do next?
AnswerDirty caruburtor. Try draining the carburetor by removing the float bowl nut on the bottom of the carburetor float bowl. Make sure the float bowl nut hole is clean.
If that does not solve the problem you will have to remove, dis-assemble and clean the carburetor with compressed air from an air compressor and use carburetor cleaner to blow through all the carb orfices.
