I am an absolute novice to repairing a mower.  I need your help!!! How do I replace a broken pull cord that starts the mower on a Honda HR215.  It's about 13 years old.  Thanks

Hi Bruce, sorry for the late reply.  We are very busy these days!  Remove the engine starte cover (blower housing) which contains the starter rope. If the spring is still good, just rewind the starter rope pulley to retension the spring.  Insert appropriate size rope into pulley as routed originally and let the spring wind the rope back into pulley. Then replace the starter handle. KEEP TENSION ON STARTER PULLEY WHEN THE ROPE IS WINDING...  If you find out that you need to replace the whole recoil then we might have what you need at http://www.discountonlineparts.com/lawnmower/?c=Starter%20Recoils&b=Honda
