Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Eager-1 6.75HP problem, tecumseh carburetor

My mower engine (143.986716/mower model-917.377621) dies almost immediately after starting.  After priming it several more times following the initial start, it runs good.  I have sprayed lots of carb cleaner through the air filter and run some Techron through the gas - to no avail.  Probably will need some carb work.  Took the float bowel off and cleaned it out. Suggestions on a good service book for this engine - step-by-step - on a carb rebuild. Is Sears the only outlet for parts?

The engine is a Tecumseh model- OVRM65 spec- 22026B.  The proper manual is the Tecumseh Overhead Valve Engine Technician's Manual, PN 695244A.
