I am having trouble identifying and purchasing mufflers for this engine. I would
also like to find an owners manual for it.

Hello Chas, when looking for a model number on engines. There should be a sticker or a data plate that tells you what the number is etc. Firstly, clean the engine just wipe the engine with a rag. (It might be mans best friend at times).Pay close attention for what you are looking for I am almost positive you will find it. Secondly, when you know for certain you have the model number, your job is almost complete. Go to Briggs& Staton website, and take the time you need to complete the task.
