Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Hydro Gear 314-0510, clutch plate, lawn tractor

After running the lawn tractor a few minutes  there is a loss of power in forward/reverse.  New belt, pulleys ok. It's like a clutch plate going bad. RPM but no response. I have the PDF of the units break down. I don't know what I should be looking for to fix the problem.

Have you checked out this link:

Those hydro are not really intended to be serviced so changing the oil can be a real pain.  Sometimes you have to remove the transaxle from the mower and turn upside down.

Check out the link and see if changing the fluid solves the problem.
