I was given a poulan2150 woodsman that had sat for 6-9 months. mod.#2150- 2.1ci,36cc.fam.#YPWES.0424cs:em,ser.#00131D200890-4(type4?).I replace the fuel lines,fuel filter,gaskets from the jug to the adapter,from the adapter to the carb.as told.saw starts runs alittle and floods out when the throtle is pushed.dry everything out it starts again and does the samething.it apears to have a walbro carb. wt324 #?. I was sold a walbro fuel filter to put on. the filter that came off it was different. I think it was a K & T. what would be the problem and how do I fix it. thank you for you'r help.

Back both high and low speed mixture screws out 1 1/2 turns and you should be able to start it. Fine tuning will be needed after starting, but I think you have other problems. Does yours have a primer bulb? Has it been a good while since it was last used? Sounds like a carb cleaning might be in order.The walbro carb may have a bad diaphragm,pump or just dirty.Here is a break down of the carb to help you out.
