Audio Systems: Amp Install, 2000 mitsubishi mirage, mitsubishi mirage

I want to put 2 12's in my 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage DE Coupe, will my factory stereo handle the upgrade, and will I have to get a wire harness adapter for the amp instillation kit??
