Questionhi i have a 1985 cr 250r dirt bike and it was running great friday and then me and my buddies load up saturday to go ride and i get to the park and the damn thang wont start i figured i flooded it so i let it sit then try agin and again and again finally had enought tryed pulling it from a four wheeler still nothing, checked for spark maybe 1 spark out of 25 kicks i would get a spark so i checked connections made sure all the wires where good put every thing back together and still nothing. well when i got home sat. night the thing fired up in 2 kicks like it was brand new so i wanted to ride since i couldnt at the park load it up go to my buddies house and same thang all over again wont start got pissed off went back home took a break came outside and started right away and runs great once started so it tells me that its electical what i need to know can a coil short in and out or once its bad it stays bad because if it does short in and out that is the problem but if it dont than something else is the problem . if i had alot of money i would just buy a coil but im on a hardcore budget and dont want to spend 100 dollars if thats not the problem
