Car Stereos: 2001 FORD TAURES SEL, ford taures, conventional radios

Hi. I have a 01 taures with the factory radio. I would like to install my aftermarkek radio i got out my last car. When I attempted to do this, curcuit city informed me it can't be done because the climate and airbag electrical are some how tied in togrther. Please tell that this is not true and there's some way around this problem.

Im afraid they are right Shon but this only applies to vehicles with digital climate controls, if your car has analog climate controls then there is still hope BUT, its gonna be costly you need to buy the whole console, see the radio on your car its just a "face" there is nothign behind it like other conventional radios, on your car everything its in the trunk, so you have to run wires all the way to the trunk,  and buy the facia with the din opening for your new radio. kits like that run anywhere from 160-210 depending on your location and shop/brand prices, the only thing is that there is nothing available for digital controled climate systems (that i know of).
