Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Generator, flywheel, ring gears, fly wheel

Question
QUESTION: Hi John,
I noticed you help a lot of people. I am hoping you can help me as well.
I have a 10-HP horizontal Tecumseh generator engine. I want to change it to an electric start. In order to do this, I need to know what the part number is for the flywheel and ring gear. My Model # is HM100-159 252K, Serial # 3012D.
I have investigated a lot of good used flywheels with ring gears but each time I am asked what model number I am looking for and I can't answer.
Hoping to hear from you.
Thank you,
Jim

QUESTION: Hi John,
Yes, the block is pre-drilled for electric start and the flywheel cover is made for electric start. But I do not have a ring gear on my flywheel.
Are the ring gear and fly wheel separate? If yes, do you know what the part number is for the ring gear? If no, what is the part number for the flywheel/ring gear combination?
Thank you very much,
Jim

Answer
Hello Again Jim:

>>Sorry for the Delay and Thanks for the Follow Up. I Loaned Out my Microfiche to Someone Over the Weekend and I had to Hunt for the Correct Fiche.
>>I Learned a Good Lesson, I will require the Fiche to be Put Back in the Order they Belong in from Now on IF I Loan them Out Again.
>>The Flywheel Comes with the Ring Gear and is Tecumseh Part Number 61191. The Starter Ring Does Not Come Separate.
>>Thanks for Using All Experts and Again I Apologize for the Delay.
>>Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag, if I Missed Something or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
