Answer
Hello Travis:

>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers LX279 and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. *You can Drag the View Windows for Better Viewing.*
>>From your Description it Sounds like you have Both Head Gaskets Blown. This is Not Unusual for this to Happen.
>>I Suggest you Remove Both Heads and Inspect the Head Gaskets. If the Head Gaskets Look Good, then the Block or Heads are Cracked.
>>Whatever caused the Head Gasket to Blow on 1 Side can Cause Both to Blow at the Same Time. The High Pressure in the Radiator is a Good Indicator of Cracked Heads/Block or Blown Head Gaskets.
>>Do you Use Regular Antifreeze in the Cooling System. If Yes, then Change to the Orange Aluminum Block Antifreeze. I Just Found Out a Few Years Ago that for Some Reason the Regular Antifreeze was Eating the Head Gaskets and Causing the Same Problem for me as the Problem you Described.
>>I had a Unit that I was Replacing Head Gaskets on Every 8 to 10 Months and I Know for a Fact Everything was Done to Specification. I was the Person Doing the Head Gasket Replacement. I Noticed that All the Head Gaskets were Eaten (for lack of a Better Phrase) from the Water Jacket Towards the Compression Ring and Once this Reached the Compression Ring the Head Gasket Failed.
>>I had a Sales Person Tell me that he was Getting a Lot of Questions About Head Gasket Problems and that the Replacement of Head Gaskets was High Lately. He Told me the Orange Antifreeze was for Aluminum Block Engine and Suggest I Try it.
>>I Used the Orange Antifreeze and and have Not had Any Problems with a Blown Head Gasket on the Unit Since and that was 2 Years Ago.
>>I Did Contact Prestone and the Other OEMs of the Regular Antifreeze and they Denied Any Knowledge of this Problem and Stated Simply that their Antifreeze Could  Not be Causing this Problem. Well, my Problem was Corrected by Changing Antifreeze and I have Plenty of People that Witnessed the Complete Problem from Start to Completion and they Now Use the Orange Antifreeze in All their Aluminum Water Cooled Engines.
>>I Now Use Only the Orange Antifreeze in ALL my Water Cooled Equipment and Automotive Units Also.
>>I Hope this Helps.
>>Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag, if I Missed Something or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
