i have a murray ultra model#622505x8 code#7261 serial#S002237760822 my problem is that the auger turns fine just does not throw the snow very far.belt seems to be tight pulls in snow just barely throws it

Can you check the model number again.  I found this model that is very similar to yours.

Is this your model nubmer?  622505x0B Dual Stage Snow Thrower, a 2004 model?

Do you have the manual?  Did you check the auger shear bolts?  Does the auger assembly continue to turn when the bucket is full of snow?

Let me know about the model number.
