Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): MTD yardmachines Snowblower, mtd yardmachines, ac volts

Question
I bought a new MTD yardmachines 26" snowblower from a Home Depot in Canada. It has a 208cc powermore motor.
Model #: 31AM63TF500.
I want to install a light. What is the amp ratings for the yellow wire (for light), and the red wire (for grip warmers).
I can't find any info on the MTD website or in my owner's manual.

Thanks,
Denis Bedard

Answer
Hello Denis:

>>It Depends on the Charging System that was Mounted on your Engine. >>You can Locate the Proper Charging System and Voltages at the Sit Addy I am Providing.
>>Most Stators can be Tested Using the Guide at the Following Site Addy; For Testing the Electrical (Charging) System on Mowers you can Use this Site Addy; http://faqs.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/faqs.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3438&p... and Use the Link for AC Volts/DC Amps Meter Setting Chart. This is for Briggs Engines and Works Well for Kohler and Other Engine OEMs.
