Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Noma (Murray) Snonblower, belt pulley, noma

Noma model G2794010, need to replace the auger cable. Do any of the belt pulley's or idlers need to be removed to replace this cable. It is VERY difficult to get the cable end out of the mount hole as the auger belt pulley is making it hard to get at the cable end.
