Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): JD 1032 Snow Blower, snow blower, auger

Question
I have a JD 1032 and just put a new eng in it.  It runs great till I engage the auger.  When the auger is engaged it starts to make almost a grinding noise and bogs the motor down.  What do I need to do.

From your Description it Sounds like the Worm (#6)and Gear (18) Inside the Ayger Gear Box May be Damaged. Can you Locate the Area of the Unit where the Grinding Sound is Coming from? Does the Engine Run Good Other than as you Described without Any Noise with the Auger Not Engaged? You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers 1032 and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. Thanks.
