Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): carb. adjustment, adjustment screws, tecumseh carburetors

i have a tecumseh lh195sa engine on my snowblower.the engine is surging and popping. sounds lean to me,i found no adjustment screws on carb?

Most Tecumseh carburetors do not have adjustments.  To resolve the lean condition requires carburetor cleaning.

You need to remove, dis-asseble and clean the carburetor with compressed air and carburetor cleaner.

The carb is very simple but pay attention to the connecting linkages.  Take a digital picture or draw a diagram of the linkages BEFORE you remove the carb.  This will aid installation you reinstall the carburetor.
