Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tec Model HMSK85 8 HP - Spec 1559058, mtd snow blower, crankcase oil

Question
This is on my MTD Snow Blower. It has electric start, which worked fine last eve, after first storm/Norhtern Wis.
Sub-Zero this morn, starter ran, slow, then quit after only two 5 second tries. It now only clicks. brought it into the Hot Tub Room to warm-up, put heat to starter, no luck.
Perhaps there is a Breaker/Trip?
I found a replacement on ebay for $140.00
Any advice will be appreciated, it's still snowing!

Answer
Hello Jeff:

I Think this is a Tecumseh Model HMSK85-155905B Engine. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers. Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing. Is the Crankcase Overfilled or the Cylinder Full of Gas? How Does the Engine Turn with the Spark Plug Removed? If the Crankcase is Not Over Filled (by Accident or from Gas Mixing with the Crankcase Oil Due to the Carburetor Float Needle Not Seating Correctly) or the Cylinder is Not Flooded (with Gas from the Carburetor Float Needle Not Seating Correctly) and the Engine is Turning Freely with the Spark Plug Removed, then Replace the Starter. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
