Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kohler M18 with propane carb, low pressure regulator, propane tank

Wondering if I need a low pressure regulator between the propane tank and carb. The motor is a Kohler M18 Spec# 24677 with a factory installed propane carb.I am planning on using a small Barbecue propane tank and mounting the engine in my old Gravely 8000 tractor.

A Regulator is Required between the Tank and the Carburetor. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps.
