Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Husqvarna-Kawasaki YTH1442XP, cylinder wall, oil oil

Question
I replaced the clutch last summer.   Immediately thereafter, I noticed a lot of
smoke coming from the exhaust.   I stopped mowing about 3 months ago.
When I tried starting up, the engine froze up.   I turned it with a breaker bar
and added oil.   Oil started coming out of the oil filter.   The gasket is OK and
the filter very hand tight but oil is pouring out.   When I add oil, it burps up
the fill line therefore overfilling.  I get the impression the oil pressure is too
high.   Any thoughts on repair?   Thank you.

Answer
I get the impression you smoked your engine, and it's junk. When the engine seized you either ruined the cylinder wall or rings, and compression in going past the rings ( Known as Blow Bye) thus causing too much pressure in the crankcase.....Need to see if the engine is rebuild-able by taking it apart and micing-out the cylinder......Tom
