Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): homelite 25cc trimmer with Zama carb, zama carb, center punch

Hi  Engine will start and run when primed. The primer bulb will not fill and the return line to the gas tank is plugged.I removed the top section of the carb and tried to blow it out{80psi} Removed the 1.25in attach pipe--still will not clear----Any suggestions   Thanx

With the lines the easiest way to fix them is replaced use a good quality rubber line as a replacement.  I think the carburetor should be removed and rebuilt because the fuel high-speed circuit is not operating.  When the carburetor is disassembled use a wire tie wire clean all the little air and fuel passages.  If there is a Welch plug on the side of the carburetor try to pop it up and clean the passage underneath to reseal set in place With a center punch and you could seal the edge with Grinnell polish which the carburetor is rebuilt mounted using new mounting gaskets lookup the throttle and choke install the air filter and it should run make adjustments from that point on the high-speed adjustment turn the screw in until the engine just starts to fail turned the screw out until the engine starts to flood and then set the screw halfway in between you do this at wide-open throttle the idle circuit is set the same way but just that I hope this information will help you best of luck.
