Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): ohv adjustment, hp briggs, rocker arms

I have a 14.5 hp. briggs I am trying to adjust the valves...can you please tell me how ????????????thanks

Take off the OHV cover. Remove the head, and the pushrods should be left behind. Then you have to buy a special tool to compress the springs...if you can position this tool just right, you don't even need to move the rocker arms. Then remove the tabs that hold the valves in place, and you can clean them and reuse them...or replace them. Hope I helped!
