Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): complete Recoil Starter for Kirby -Lauson GED -4, recoil starter, olympic reel

Hi Steve, I have lived in Auckland New Zealand for 2 years and have been
restoring a Morrison Olympic reel mower. I have hit a dead end in trying to
obtain a complete Recoil starter or even the parts to rebuild the motor on a
Kirby - Lauson GED -4 motor.
Have you any suggestions as to where I can go next in my trek to obtain parts
for this wonderful old machine

I am not the best person to ask for this question, but I do know that you can have it ordered direct from the maker. This is not my area of expertise, but being a fan of old engines, I would recommend looking on Amazon, eBay, and other online buying websites. If you can't find one, I can't help you. Sorry.
