Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda 160cc, stroke motor, spec numbers

Hi, have just got brand new Honda 160cc 4 stroke motor attached to water transfer pump.  Starts first time, goes well but when warmed up starts missing at high revs.  If lower revs then fine and increase revs again good for a while. Then starts missing again. Seems to me a carburetor problem.  Can you help? Thanks
