Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): certification, planning a career, briggs

Hi Eric. A different type of question. I recently finished a course in small engine repair and subsequently earned my  ope certification. How do I become certified,as you have,by briggs and the other engine manufactures.

Answer
Most all the manufactures offer certification classes.  I would email each manufacture you are interested in and see when there next certification courses are offered.

Each course will cost but if you are planning a career in the industry I would highly recommend them.  If you itemize your taxes you can write-off most if not all of the coures.
