Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Vcta Tiller, synthetic oil, internal components

Question
I have a Victa Tiller 100 Series 6 which has not been used for many years. I want to start using it again. It starts easily. Do I need to use any specific type of oil when changng the oil?

Answer
Hello Rob:

If this Unit has been Setting for a Few Years and Still Starts Easily, then Do Not be Suprised if the Carburetor has to be Cleaned After a Few Uses. The Engine Oil is SAE 30. I Use Synthetic Oil as it Virtually Reduces the Internal Engine Wear to Nothing and my Engines Last Longer. I have Found that when Using Synthetic Oil you May have to Lower the Engines Idle Speed After the Synthetic Oil has Coated the Internal Components Properly (usually after the First Use). If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
