Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro Wheel Horse W/ Onan Engine, oil pressure switch, onan engines

QUESTION: Engine Model#P216G Mower# 41-160-E01-  Engine runs 45 minutes, until warn cuts off,or if turned off will not start no fire to plugs for 30 minutes until cool. Cranks back up runs 45 minutes to 1 hr.. I have replaced coil,  condenser and plugs. Help please I am stumped.

When the Engine Quits, Is the Fuel Free Flowing to the Fuel Pump/Carburetor? Is the Fuel Pump Operating when the Engine Quits? Check the Gas Tank Cap and Make Sure the Cap is Venting the Tank Properly. The Model Number of this Unit is 41-16OE01. Now Select View Assembly Drawings. Does this Unit have the Oil Pressure Switch? Does the Engine have Fire to the Plug/s when the Engine Quits? What is the Compression of this Engine when it Quits? QUESTION: I have a service and parts manual. Fuel Ok. Yes it does have an OP switch that operates an light, works normal. The engine does not have fire when it quits. Compression when it quits 125 psi both cly. Since it cranks and runs 45 min. do you think it could be the Stator or Ing. control ?

Since this Unit has No Fire After it Runs for 45min to 1hr, then the New Condenser is Bad or the New Coil is Bad. It is Rare to Purchase Bad Parts, but it Does Happen on a Regular Basis if you Repair Small Engines. I Suggest you Purchase another Condenser and Replace it First. QUESTION: Hope this will help someone.Because of the difficultly I replaced the stator and ing. control at the same time. This corrected the problem.
