Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro zero turn, crankcase breather, throttle cables

Question
i have a Kawasaki 21 hp engine and when i try to start it shoots gas out the exhaust in a stream

Answer
The carburetor is overflowing.  The inlet needle is not seating.  Remove the carburetor and take apart.  Clean all air and fuel passages with the wire from a twist tie.  Blow out with carb cleaner or compressed air.  Purchase a carb kit and new mounting gaskets.  Install the parts in the kit and reassemble.  Install using new gaskets. Drain the oil and refill with fresh oil.  Take out crankcase breather and clean or replace. reinstall with new gasket. Hook up choke and throttle cables and adjust. This should do it.
