Dear John,
I have a Murray (Model # 42514X8A) 42" Lawn Tractor
(serial # 7428426491H00040) (Year 99264)I am quessing the belt is 37x75
I am looking for the spindal assemly(1001048)??  The bearings blew up and the jack shaft(92849)?? that holds the pulley on top and the blade underneath just flops around. I took these numbers from a catalog for 2001 and later models. Will they work or where can I find the proper numbers?

You can View a Breakdown of this Unit at this Site Addy; http://www.ordertree.com/ModelInfo.asp and Select Murray from the Drop Down List Provided and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Go. Then Select View Illustrated Parts List. Now Double Click on the Model in the Results Window. Now Select the Mower Housing File. This is a 2000 Model Lawn Tractor. The Mandrel (Spindle Housing) is Part #092574. The Jack Shaft is Part #094129. The Spacer is Part #09413MA. I Purchase Most Murray Parts from Dixie Sales @ 1-800-753-4943. If they Do Not Sale Parts to a Private Individual, then they can Assist you in Locating a Dealer Nearest you.
