Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snow Blower, rod bearings, snow blower

Question
I have a Tecumseh snow blower Engine model # TH098SA

I can get the engine started but once a put a load on it the engine shuts off.
I put new gas and ran it for awhile but I still have the same results.
Is there any where I could find information on this problem.

If it sputters and dies you probable have debris in the carb in one of the air or fuel passages. Clean with a wire from a twist tie and blow out with carb cleaner or compressed air.  If it binds up and dies I think it is internal, crankshaft or rod bearings.
