Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): meager beaver 2.1 ci pwr mac 300 series chain saw, needle nose pliers, question pool

Question
QUESTION: My fuel pickup line deteriorated and is loose in the gas tank with the gas filter, how to replace these parts and do you know where to find the parts?

ANSWER: Hello Larry:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool and I can Only Answer Questions from the Question Pool when I am Not Answering Questions here or at the Other Site I Answer Questions at. The Hose can be Purchased at Most Automotive Parts Retailers and the Filters are Usually at Wal-Mart or your Local Small Engine Service Center. The Fuel Line is Pushed and Pulled (I Use Long Needle Nose Pliers) Through the Small Hole Until the Hose is Out the Fill Hole about a 1/2". Then Attach the Filter and Pull the Hose Back Until the Filter Lays at the Bottom of the Tank Just Below the Fill Hole. **Hint: Use Plenty of Spray Lubrication at the Small Hole as you are Feeding in the Hose. It Slides Easier.** Jenn-Feng Purchased McCulloch in 1999 when they went Bankrupt. MTD Supports McColloch in the US for Jenn-Feng. You can View a Breakdown of this Unit at this Site Addy; http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/public/list.jsp?BrandCode=10001 and Enter the Model Numbers MT3315 and a Serial Number. The Number  1 is all that is Required for a Serial Number. Then Select the Manual you Wish to View Online. QUESTION: John, thanks for the info, but the model number you gave me is for a gas trimmer and not my chainsaw.

Answer
Hello Again Larry:

Oops. My Bad. The Instruction File was Supposed to Instruct you to Enter your Units Model Number Preceeded by the Letters MT and Use the Number 1 for a Serial Number. The File Must have had that Model Number Added and Never Deleted. I'll Use a Different Site. The Correct Model Number for your Saw should be; 11-600157-02. You really Do Not Require the Model Numbers to Purchase the Fuel Line and in Tank Filter. These are Common (and the same) on All Chainsaws and Trimmers. You can Contact Kevin Emerich @ Emerich Sales @ 1-518-399-8574 for Other Parts and Accessories for this Unit. Again I Apologize for the Mistake. I have Correct the Instruction File and Hopefully it will Not Happen Again. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
