Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda gc160, camshaft, oil seal

Question
I was going to replace the valves  i have the block totally broken down now i can not seem to remove the camshaft from the front where the flywheel is i have taken the oil seal off to look in to see but just cant figure it out is there some type of tool or something i have to line up it just want come out any help would help thanks

Answer
To remove the camshaft you have to take the valve springs out first.  Once that is done to camshaft should lift easily out of the engine.  If you're still having problems you'll need to remove the crankshaft before the camshaft.  When reinstalling be sure the timing marks are properly aligned.  Good luck on your project.
