Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): B&S no fun power, go cart motor, air filter element

i have a b&s fun power model 136212 type 001601 code 960529yb on a go cart. motor runs fine on the road stopping taking off full throttle but if u go in the yard hit a few bumps stop or even slow down the motor will bog and try to die when u press the trottle again but if u wait about 10 secs with out touching the throttle it would rev up again and run untill u hit more bumps if it does die a few pulls and its back up and running untill more bumps and stop and go.go back on the road and all is fine. thanks for any info and your time on this

Is there any sort of safety system in this kart?   Like you have to have the brake on to start it?  If there is it sounds like a safety switch issue or a loose connection at the ground.  Follow the throttle cable all the way back to the engine.  When you get there you should find a wile hooked to the assembly.  That may be broke or just loess.  

If not electrical it is a dirty fuel system. Clean or replace the fuel cap vent, fuel tank, screen in bottom of tank, all fuel lines and replace the air filter element.  

If it still doesn't fix there has to be debris in the fuel bowl.  Remove carob and cleanable fuel passages with the wire from a twist tie.  Install new needle and seat as well as all o ring seals and gaskets.
