Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Impulse Hose cleaning and/or repair, piston rings, piston ring

Question
I have a Husqvarna 359 that bogs down in a cut.  I have read that it could be the impulse hose.  Can you tell me if I can clean out the hose or do I need to replace it?  I will not run well unless it is really warm out.
