Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): husky lawn mower belt(removal), cotter pins, new bet

How do you get the belt off that pulls the blade? It is a 17.5 motor, with a 42 inch cut.

    this is relativly simple
As with any deck Over 36" Lower the dek to the lowest point.
there will be 2 cotter or ring pins holding the deck to 2 mounting rods remove the pins and locks dont lose em.
the deck should adjust forward to remove the belt easily
once your new bet is installed slide the deck back to the mount lifting rods place the deck mounting bolts back on with cotter pins and away you go mowing
