Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): LX188 failing to start, lx 188, question pool

I have a LX 188 92-94 model, MOLl188X112847.
Currently unable to figure out why it will not start. The only signs of life are lights and a buzz on the PDB on key module. I have checked Starter, PTO switch and replace the Key Module with no success.  I have traced wiring to a sensor back on the hydrostatic differential. The last time it ran, I was beginning to start the PTO and had to dis-engage due to needing to do something real quickly. Sat back down and went to start and no life!

Hello Michael:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool and I can Only Answer Questions from the Question Pool when I am Not Answering Questions here or at the Other Site I Answer Questions at and I am Also on Vacation. From your Description it Sounds like the PTO Switch has Stuck or is Bad. Try Turning the PTO ON and Off a Few Times and then Try Starting the Engine.
