Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): riding mover, craftsman riding lawn mower, sears craftsman

I have a sears craftsman riding lawn mower Model #917270532 it has six adjustments for the deck. If I place it in #1 2 3 4 it will not move. 5 & 6 it moves up. I found the two rods that adjust the deck front and back right and left side. What do I adjust

Because 5 & 6 are transport height.   Set the mower on a level surface. place a 2 x 4 on edge under the front and back edge of the housing.  Lower the deck onto the 2 x 4"s. loosen all mounting hardware. This will be the 3" height of cut.  Put the lever in the corresponding notch and tighten the hardware.  Adjust the front of the deck to be 1/4 - 1/8" lower than the rear.

Put mower in desired height of cut and adjust the guide wheels or rollers to be 1/4" off the floor. In some cases the guide wheels are the height of cut adjustment. In that case adjust to desired height of cut.  

You may try going to Sears website and searching for your owners manual seeing you have the model and serial.
