Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gear case, crankcase oil, craftsman model

Question
I, by mistake started to take off the cover that says OHV and some oil came out.  Craftsman Model No. 917.378644.  Where do I get the proper oil and how do I put it in?  Thanks Lon

Answer
Hello Lonnie:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. No Worries. All that Oil was Excess that Rests in the Head when the Engine is Not Running and it Comes from the Crankcase. Check the Crankcase Oil and Make Sure it is Filled to the Correct Level and All will be Fine. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
