Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Pewerless/Tecumseh Transmission, transmission model, transaxle

I need help with repairing my Murray model 30900x8B mower Pewerless/Tecumseh transmission model 915-032. When put in gear and releasing clutch there is a grinding sound and will not move. Do you think the whole transmission needs replaced or can I rebuild it. The mower has been used about 30 times.

If you have the Time, I Suggest you Remove the Transaxle and Inspect it for the Cause of the Grinding. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the P. Then Select Peerless. Then Select "To View Parts List Click Here" in the Upper Right of the Page. Then Select the Series Transaxle (915). Then Select the Transaxle File for your Transaxle.
