Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deer RX95 Riding Mower, john deer, voltage difference

Question
QUESTION: Mower starts fine but when I engage mower it cuts off. I have replaced the Seat Safety Switch but problem still exist. What can I do next? Thanks.

ANSWER: Hello Paul:

What is the Battery Voltage Before and After you Engage the PTO. If the Stator/Charger is Not Operating Correctly and the System Voltage Drops Below 10.5VDC when the PTO is Engages, then the Carburetor Solenoid Closes and Shuts Off the Engine. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

QUESTION: John: I do not know the voltage difference after engaging the PTO, When you refer to the Stator/Charger, is this the same as the Battery Charger 110v kit? Thanks again for the prompt reply.

Answer
Hello Again Paul:

No. The Stator/Charger is a Charging Coil that is Located Under the Flywheel of the Engine. This Charging COil Charges the Battery, Runs the Lights, the Electric PTO and the Other Electrical Components (the Carburetor Solenoid, ect) on the Mower. If the Stator/Charger is Not Producing the Correct Voltage, then Every Time the PTO is Engaged the Engine will Quit because the Voltage is Not High Enough to Keep the Carburetor Solenoid Open. If you Go to the Site Addy I Provided and Locate your Model Mower and Select the Engine File. Then Select the RX95, SX95 Flywheel, Screen and Engine Electrical Parts Sub File. The Stator/Charger/Charging Coil is Shown in the Breakdown as # 27. The Stator/Charger/Charging Coil is Required to Operate the Electric PTO. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
