Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Runs when I hold the trottle open., set screw, spec numbers

I have a 5 Hp FUN POWER engine on a small Go-Cart. The engine will fire, and it will run if I hold the trottle open. But if I let off the trottle it will not idle, and dies. This engine had a 'new' carb. on it when we got it, and I have noticed it has a Jet Pilot (Part No. 691250) and I wonder if it should have a Valve Idle-Mixture W/spring ( Part No. 692241). Any help would be great. Thank-you.

Have you Tried to Adjust the Idle Set Screw (if any)? Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Thanks.
