Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Cutting Deck not lowering, deck height, mower deck

Question
I have a White Cruismatic riding mower (Model # 134A676F190).  The lever to the cutting deck won't lower.  I dislodge the lever and try to lower the deck but it stops after the first notch (have a total of 9 notches to choose from) and it won't lower any further.  Do you have any suggestions???  Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thank you,

Charles

Answer
Hello Charles:

You can View a Breakdown of the Mower at this Site Addy; http://www.whiteoutdoor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/topcategory_10301_17502_-1 and Select "Buy Parts and Accessories." Now Select "Use our Detailed Parts Finder" on the Right of the Page. Now Enter the Model Numbers (134A676F190) and Click Search. Then Double Click on the Model in the Results Area. Now Select the Deck Lift Assembly File. You May have to Remove the Tank and Some of the Frame Metal to Gain Access to the Lift Linkage. From your Description it Sounds like the Lift Pivot has Frozen/Stuck. Remove the Require Hardware to Access the Lift Linkage. Clean and Lubricate the Linkage. Operate the Linkage and Locate the Component that is Stuck or Binding and Repair/Clean and Lubricate as Required. Some of these Mowers have a Turn Knob that Adjust the Mower Deck Height. This Knob will Set the Deck Lift so it can Only Drop the Deck to the Set Height. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
