Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda Lawn Mower doesnt start, honda lawn, spec numbers

Question
John:
I inherited a older Honda 215 Harmony Lawn Mower that was left outside for several years. I have cleaned the carburator and changed the oil,but the engine now has trouble starting. I found the "flywheel" was rusted as well as the magneto, so cleaned these off. When I replaced the magneto, I guessed that the gap was between 8-15 thousands.Still, no spark. I want to now whether I should replace the magneto, flywheel, or both. Thank you for your advice.

Answer
Hello Keith:

Remove the Shut Off Wire from the Magneto/Coil. Does the Engine have Spark? Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Thanks.
