Answer
Hello David:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. The Generator you have was Manufactured by Generac. Generac is a Briggs and Stratton Company and Most of the Engines are of the Briggs and Stratton Design. I have Used Carburetors Off of Briggs Engine and Attached them to Generac Generators with No Modifications at All and then a Few I had to Make Minor Changes to the Linkage. If you are Like Myself and Most People that Own Generators; you Know they are Seldom Used and the Most Common Problem is the Carburetors. I Suggest you Contact your Local Briggs Engine Dealer and Explain to then your Problem. They will Usually Charge you a Little More to Do the Research and Locate a Carburetor or Kit that will Fit your Engine. It is Usually Well Worth the Little Extra Cost Provided the Generator Portion of the Unit is Operating Good. At This Time, I am Awaiting a Return Call from the Generac Parts and Service Department Manager. They are Trying and Locate a Current Part Number of a Kit that Should have the Required Parts (with Possibly a Few Extras Components) that can be Used on your Carburetor. I Will Follow Up to you as Soon as they Do the Research and Contact me. Thanks for Using All Experts and Again I Do Apologize for the Delay. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck

Hello Again David:

I Just Got Off the Phone with Generac. The Engine is a Kawasaki. The Carburetor Part Number is 15001-2551. Dave Said to Contact a Kawasaki Dealer and Purchase a Kit for that Carburetor. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
