Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere 150 no spark, jd dealer, safety switches

I have 2000 JD 150. It does not have spark to the spark plug. I had the coil and the excitor checked at a local JD dealer. They were good. So I am guessing it is one of the safety switches. could you tell me how many there are and where they are located? Is there a place to unhook them? Is the ignition system magneto? Thank you, Bill

Remove the Shut Off Wire from the Igniter/Exciter and Check for Fire. Does the Engine Fire? Also, What is this Unit? Thanks.
