Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tecumseh flywheel, reverse polarity, antique engines

Question
There is a flywheel problem in a Tecumseh motor HH70-140032B that is part of an Ariens Rocket Tiller.  3 of the 6 magnets in the flywheel have fallen loose and I don't know what position the magnet of reverse polarity should take.  By the way this tiller is 7hp with electric start and reverse.  Thanks for your attention.

Answer
Hello Vickie:

It will Do No Good to Glue the Magnets Back to the Flywheel. They can Not be Set Back into the Flywheel Correctly. I and Many Other Mechanics have Tried this on Many Flywheels (Briggs, Tecumseh, Kohler, ect) and have had No Luck. For this Engine you will have to Contact Companies that Deal with Old and Antique Engines. The Following Site has a List of Companies that Deal in Old and Antique Lawn Equipment Parts. I have Purchased Used Parts from Most of the Companies List and Rate them All Highly. http://jacques.lacasse.com/GardenTractor/Information_Data/Parts.htm . If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
